The story behind 2USband started in

November 2013. Heidi, a 46 year young singer

from Tønsberg,Norway hooked up with Atle, 47 years young guitarist and composer from Bergen, Norway, and started making music together as early as only a couple of weeks after their first meeting. Since they both have a genuine interest in music in general, and don't belong in a spesific genre, they are truly capable of jumping between different styles of musicmaking.

Heidi, at the time 23 years old, sadly lost her father to cancer

back in `92, and also gained a firsthand glimpse of how unforgiving
and hard this kind of illness can be. As a kind of a coverup, and maybe
also a way to dampen the inflicting of pain to the near family, he told
them that he had a 80 percent chance to survive, when in reality the
figuers were only more like 20 percent. Because Heidis father was born
in Scotland, she made the decision to also have him burried there, and
spent the last week together with him before saying their goodbyes
at the airport.

The melody Someday We'll Meet Again was made as a tribute to Heidis
father, and tells the gripping story of the struggle of having to deal with
this illness. She can without a doubt relate to those suffering from cancer
and their families who also have to deal with it, and empathizes on how
difficult their fight can be.
